Wow, can you believe it’s been an entire year since we started doing these Real Time Reports? 2011 just flew by! We’ve come full circle since the 2010 October Collection & DD Gathering, and today we’ll be releasing the 2011 October Collection & DD Gathering items — as usual, I’m here to bring you the Volks USA Real Time Report! Check this post throughout the day, because I’ll be uploading more photos from release day here at the Volks USA showroom!

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is excited about the DD Gathering & October 2011 Items Release tomorrow!
Speaking of which, customers Archangeli and PlasticFantastic were kind enough to send us some photos of their DDs wearing a couple of the new outfits which are scheduled to be released!.
They were lucky enough to be able to get them through VOLKS International Website this time, so they arrived a bit more quickly than our release here.
That means that you get to see customer dolls modeling these outfits for you and maybe get a better idea of if they are right for your DD girl. We thank our two contributors very much for the photos.
We have two blog posts in this series this time, so please make sure to catch the next one as well.
Here we have DD Yuki Morikawa, who belongs to PlasticFantastic, wearing the Rusty Tartan Set, and Gabrielle, a DDS Akira belonging to Archangeli, wearing the Stylish Tartan Set.

Hello there! Those who can will come to our Showroom this Saturday for the DD Gathering and October 2011 Collection, right? If so, then please don’t forget to bring your Volks dolls to use the dazzling, Winter Photo Space one last time. This weekend, Jan. 28th & 29th, will be your last chance to use this Photo Space:
It’s never to early to start on those dolly Christmas cards for 2012! Or see Mr. Snowman one last time, before he melts away. Whatever you do, don’t miss this last call.
After this weekend, we will make way for a new scene for a new holiday. Can you guess what it will be? Have some ideas? If so, please share them with a staff member! We would love to hear your requests for future Photo Spaces.

Welcome back to the Sumika Times!
Today I have something very unusual to share with you. Customer J.L. came in recently to use our photo space and brought in her newest welcomed SD, an SD16Girl Reisner whom we’ve seen only once before. She’s all made up and ready to reveal herself.
For those of you who might not know, Reisner was originally released as an SD17Boy.
Although we do not offer bodies or most parts separately, it is not too uncommon for very dedicated customers to work hard and take extra steps to get just the right look for their beloved SDs, so you might see unusual combinations from time to time.
That being said, meet Dvojnik! According to J.L. she is an elegant, mature girl

Hello, there!
Continuing on from my first post introducing the new Volks Instant Dry Glue (High Strength type), today I will be introducing the High Speed type! As stated previously, these two new glues are especially meant for plastic model kits and resin garage kits, so all you SWS fans out there, why not give the new Volks Instant Dry Glues a try?
VS Instant Dry Glue -- "Sokuchaku" (High Speed) type!
The word “Sokuchaku,” which is the Japanese name for the High Speed type, is composed of the characters for “immediate” and “stick,” and that’s exactly what the High Speed type does: it sticks immediately! This is a thin liquid glue that dries instantly – its low viscosity makes it especially good for gluing small parts, as it provides great flow, an extremely fast drying time, and a strong adhesive bond. It’s also great for gluing clear parts, as it has been specially formulated to provide a lower risk of whitening.
Each pack of High Speed glue comes with 3 tubes of glue (each tube contains 2 grams), as well as 3 micro-nozzles, which can be attached to the tubes for extremely precise placement of very small amounts of glue.
